Grasshopper-macro photography

At the weekend, my dad found a grasshopper in the garden, and I found this the perfect opportunity to take some macro photography with my new Nikon DS3200 DSLR camera, and a macro lense with a 4+2x (6x) zoom. These images are the best ones I took out of around 15 different images. I then put them into photoshop to edit them and change the brightness/contrast etc. I then decided to take it a bit further and used the magnetic lasso tool to draw around the grasshopper and then put this on a new layer. I then changed the background images to black and white, I chose to do this so that it creates an interesting effect on the image, and gives good contrast with the background.

  2. Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your article seem to be running
off the screen in Chrome. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something
to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to
let you know. The design and style look great though!
Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Many thanks
